CU bargains

I wanted to let you know about the new overlay set Mel from MCA Designs has released this week over at My Scrap Shop. It’s her birthday this week, and to celebrate she’s put together 100 overlays, plus a tutorial on how to use them, for just $10.

Be quick, it’s only at this sale price for the rest of this week. At only 10c an overlay, it’s worth checking out.

While you’re there, take a peek at PillowGirls’ latest CU Stash. She’s up to #8 and they’re a great addition to any designer’s toolkit.

I’ll have a new freebie for you all soon, so don’t forget to come back soon :) .

We Scrapbookers Love To Shop!

Now come on admit it, the shopping for, sorting of, playing with and stock piling our products is one pastime we scrapbookers love just as much as creating the layouts themselves. ;) Even if you are a digi chic, I bet you can’t resist the urge to browse and buy just one more kit that you know you will use one day. ;)

So my point being? Well I just had to share another place to spend some of your time doing the very much loved task of scouring for great products. When my friend Michelle from My New Shiny Shoes posted on her shopping blog about Craft Products Australia I couldn’t resist the urge to jump on over and have a look. Their range isn’t too bad and they cater to more than just scrapbookers. I’ve bookmarked them for future “I need a shopping fix” reference ;)

Scrapbooks Alive

Website Review: Scrapbooks Alive

Ever heard of Video Scrapbooking? Well I hadn’t either until I met Kim from Scrapbooks Alive. I am so very intrigued by this concept, however having not even tried digital scrapbooking as yet I’mnot sure how I’d go with creating a Video Scrapbook.

Kim’s website Scrapbooks Alive is still being constructed but her blog http://www.scrapbooksalive.com/blog/ is building to be a great reference point for video scrapbooking. She has quite a few examples there already.

I can’t wait until her site is ready, it’ll be a must for all scrapbookers that’s for sure. Which is why I wanted to bring it to your attention now, so that you already know it exists and will be waiting in anticpation for the site to launch.

Daisy D’s Modern Romance Collection

Filed under: Reviews — Lucie @ 11:28 am

Free Scrapbooking ResourcesProduct Review: Daisy D’s Modern Romance Collection. How gorgeous is this new range!! Wow, I really loved that last release from Daisy D’s in their girlfriend range but they’ve out done themselves this time. The Modern Romance Collection is simply stunning. Very feminine but oh so shabby.

A huge range of papers and double sided cardstock, plus mongrams, die cuts, tags and rub ons, it’s all so super yummy!! :) I’m definitley stocking up on this range, it will be great for my book of me.Daisy D's Modern Romance Collection

Have you used the range yet? I’d love to see what you’ve done with it. Please leave a comment with a link to your finished images on your blog so we can all check them out.

Happy Scrapping.
